The Houston Aeros were in search of a third goalie for the new season and today they finalized their search with the former San Antonio Rampage Goalie Josh Tordjman.
Tordjman last season ended in a losing season 20-22-2 but we in Houston know just how well he can block a puck from the net. He has great hand eye coordination and that enables him to follow the puck much more easy. During the 2008-2009 season according to Aeros.com, "Tordjman set AHL career-highs in wins(25) and shutouts(6) while ranking second in the AHL in shutouts". So as i can see it Josh will be nothing but a huge asset to this years growing talent.
The Aeros Also picked up a Center for next year as well. Rylan Kaip was signed from the Chicago Wolves.
Rylan is a well rounded center. Not great at one thing but good at all things center. During the last season he played with the wolves all the way to the calder cup finals where he played in 9 games. Before he was drafted he was playing in a colligate league for the University of North Dakota where he ended his senior year as the Captain of the team.
Over all I believe that the these two men will contribute to the team, and i feel they will mesh with the growing talent, and ever growing new line up for the new year. I feel the aeros coaching staff is Building a well planned winning season for the upcoming season.
